Bio
James Sanders
Phil and I worked together to keep well over a hundred critical and very complex, 24x7x365 systems up and running. These included systems and apps developed over the years, mostly without accurate or complete documentation, on Mini computers like HP3000, HP9000, Classics, MPE/iX, and Mainframes, as well as PC Server network apps in C, VB, Visual Studio, HTML, XML interfaces and all kinds of other types of interfaces too, oh, and AS400's and Linux systems also. And...a lot of these systems were old,... r..e..a..l..l..y old! When I say critical, I mean, critical, like a "scuba tank down at depth" critical, and 24x7x365 means just that...you get the idea.. The new stuff was fun too..and Phil is a leader in taking initiative, staying relevant, learning new technology, and bringing it to bear on the organization, and sharing it with the team to develop their skills further. There is no one else on the planet that I would rather have on my team but Mr. Phil Yantis, when the going gets tough and there is alot of critical thinking and work to get done. Phil fits in anywhere, he is a great leader, follower, and team member. I am very lucky to continue to work with Phil today. Regards J.Sanders
