Ancient history follows...Employed by Philips Electronics in Australia (under several related company names) associated with a semiconductor design/manufacturing facility in Hendon, South Australia from 1969 until it was sold by Philips in a management buy-out around 1998. That manufacturing factory was re-named IES and subsequently Hendon Semiconductors. I remained with Philips Semiconductors, using Hendon Semiconductors as a contract manufacturer, until 2005 when Philips Semiconductor operations were closed in Australia. Philips Semiconductors subsequently became NXP Semiconductors. I have been employed by Hendon Semiconductors (previously IES) from 2005 to the present - a total of 53 years associated with the same manufacturing facility for semiconductor IC design and manufacture.
