      As a Graduate Electrical and Telecommunications Engineer, I am given the opportunity to get a fair exposure and to familiarize myself with all Systems and subsystems of Bmobile 4G lte Mobile Network as an operator Specializing in Voice and data in both PNG and Solomon Islands. I am Currently attached under the Technical Division On 2 Weeks Shift Rotation spanning 4 months on the ensuing Mobile Network systems; 1. Power Division - On/off Grid (hybrid) Power Installations and Monitoring. Software platform used; Neteco (Integrated Power management for Huawei DG and BTS Power Cabinets mainly for 3G/4G sites), Ascot (MS for off Grid Hybrid remote sites with no PPL/mains), and Deep Sea Electronics ( DSE is used to monitor FG-Wilsons and Deutz AC Generators on site) - Did routine checks and fault attendance with Power team on Power Issues to ensure the BTS equipment are operatrional. Basic Checks/tests carried on Gensets esp Filters (fuel/Oil), Run hours, Voltage, RPM output, battery Voltage and Frequency. 2. Radio Access Network (RAN)-Transmission -Did New Link Installation and Link Upgrades. -Migrating traffic from Dataco Fibre Link to New Microwave Radio Link RTN950 (XPIC 1+0 protection) for old BMHQ to Telikom Rumana. This is to increase link/Channel Capacity from 100Mbps to 400Mbps and to cut cost from leasing fibre Link from Dataco. -Employed Huawei Network Cloud Engine (NCE) and U2020Transmission to for Configuration, O&M and NMS 3.
