  Harmer Architecture is a Melbourne based architecture and interior design practice. Our primary interest is designing public spaces. Our office has extensive capability in the design of a wide range of public facilities that include, theatres, workplace environments and spaces for teaching and learning, arts and culture. We have also recently completed a wide range of projects in the realm of Allied Health and research laboratories. The work of Harmer Architecture has been recognised by our peers in 17 AIA awards and commendations for architectural excellence. We have been acclaimed in numerous industry design awards and the work of the practice is published in print media in Australia and internationally. Our studio in Budd street Collingwood, designed by us of course, is an exemplar in environmental sustainability, and when completed in 2003, was awarded 3 AIA awards for design excellence and best Corporate Interior in the Australian Interior Design awards for 2003.
