Event Logistics Coordinator
-
Sep 2022 - Present
Organised multiple event setup teams per week to different track locations across the UK, liaising with venues to coordinate timing logistics for the different functions such as unloading vehicles and setting up the venue. This incorporates liaising with self-employed HGV drivers to drive our transporters loaded with supercars to these venues, with occasions where 10 drivers are required across a single day. Booked hotels for each of the 100+ away events that take place over the course of the year, I make sure these are located close to the track and ensuring there are sufficient numbers for all staff. I am also responsible for managing the transportation of these staff across the country, whilst integrating vehicular requirements for the events such as U17s and High Speed Ride experiences. Managing and liaising with different suppliers to ensure that each of the 18 track locations have all the correct facilities. This incorporates marquees for larger events, alongside catering and toilets for those venues such as airfields. I must make sure that all invoices are sent to the finance department in advance, alongside other payments that I make such as taxing vehicles required for our events, alongside any hotel parking or ULEZ charges that are incurred by our staff whilst driving.
