  Test/QA analyst working across multiple projects and in various locations in the north of the UK (including Newcastle and Manchester), using either Waterfall or Scrum methodologies. Projects included improvements for the Tax Free Childcare service, a supplementary role in the Authentication Authorisation project, the e-Business Gateway project and it's migration to the Digital Validation and Transformation Service. The Waterfall project responsibilities included: Working alongside the test manager either in Newcastle or Preston to complete manual comparison and regression test cycles, whilst raising, tracking and re-testing defects raised in Jira. Additional responsibilities involved maintaining data and test documents and attending defect triage / AOB calls. My responsibilities in the Scrum projects included: Working as part of the Scrum team to ensure the Scrum process was followed as rigorously as possible. Attending daily stand-ups, show and tell, review/retrospective and sprint planning - in addition to focusing on the creation and running of integration, acceptance and performance testing, writing Cucumber scenarios and running builds via Jenkins. Additional responsibilities included tracking test data, execution logs and maintaining data summaries, acting as a stand-in Scrum Master, picking up additional tasks to reduce any pressure induced by absences and contributing to the projects Confluence page(s).
