  I am responsible for running the business, developing relationships with clients, retailers and distributors and planning and executing the overall strategy. In 2016 I was chosen as one of the Book Seller's 'Rising Stars' for my work on this side of the business.Meze is an independent publishers run by myself and designer Paul Cocker who specialise in cookbooks. We were recently crowned Best Newcomer at the Independent Publishing Awards while we have over 30 books in our portfolio including The Manchester Cook Book which was a Waterstones best seller last Christmas, 4 Grosvenor Square, by 2015 Masterchef finalist Danilo Cortellini as well as winner of Masterchef 2015 Simon Wood’s first book. Current projects include two Michelin-starred chef Daniel Clifford’s first book. To date, our series of regional cook books have combined sales of over 200,000.
