I had the pleasure of working with Phil at Argo International Corporation and got to know him as a genuine and respected leader of his division. Phil recognized quickly the short comings and down trajectory of our staple product lines and set out to add new value add lines to our portfolio. He clearly demonstrated his ability to stay on course against initial corporate resistance when his vision of creating a differentiating and very successful new line of business received a lukewarm reception.
