The project consisted of 12 separate work packages encompassing the installation of over 600km of gas and water gathering HDPE pipe work, 1500km of high voltage and fibre optic cabling and 180 gas well-head separators requiring a site based workforce of over 350.

$110 million contract to install a water gathering system in the Coal Seam Gas fields near Roma, Queensland for Fluor/Santos. The project comprised major earthworks to remove 500,000 m3 of unsuitable material and replace with suitable material then construct concrete structures to support the plant and equipment for the Associated Water Amendment Facility (AWAF). In addition to the earthworks there was 75km of water gathering pipe work - 50km HDPE and 15km GREA site based team of over 200.

Employed by WDS Limited as part of a Joint Venture with York Civil as the Construction Manager and Commissioning Manager for the delivery of a $35 million sewage treatment facility in Innisfail, on behalf of the Cassowary Coast Regional Council (CCRC). The project was classed as an upgrade to the existing plant maintaining operation at all times during the new plant construction but the new facility, built adjacent to the existing, replaced the existing plant once commissioning had been completed.The area adjacent to the construction was environmentally sensitive - 2 creeks within 30m of site boundary. Removal and treatment of acid sulphate soils - acidic water treated prior to discharge into local waterways - 3 successful DERM visits/auditsMajor structures constructed and plant items installedElevated control building - above Q100 flood level450 driven concrete piles - up to 40m deepGrit removal equipment - 50 x 30 x 8 metres cast in-situ concrete oxidation ditch with associated inlet works Mechanical debris removal inlet screens3 x aeratorsChemical Dosing equipment - polymer, caustic, sodium hypochlorite2 clarifiers - 35 metres in diameter x 7m high with half bridge scrapersReturn and secondary activated pumping systemsService water systemSludge removal and treatment plantUltra-violet filtrationFull SCADA HMI control systemThe project was delivered within the completion date publicised by the Local Council and the Joint Venture profit expectation was improved from 5 to 14%. Delivered several projects from tender award to final completion and successful handover with individual value up to $2 million for SA Water. Significant Projects included A design and build project to install a fluoride dosing facility at the Blue Lake in Mount Gambier. This was a very controversial project met with large scale community opposition. The project was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule and no environmental compliance breaches. Replacement of screens at a major pumping station on the Murray River, incorporating working from a barge pontoon and black water diving activities. Lifting activities were also carried from the pontoon.
