Retired - Manage all business, operation and maintenance activities at this wood fired plant. Developed and implemented all environmental, health and safety programs, hired and trained staff, developed operating procedures and helped bring this project from construction to operation three months ahead of schedule. Plant staff has worked more than 24 years without a Lost Time accident. Plant operating availability has averaged over 96% and earnings have exceeded budget by more than 80% since initial operation in June of 1992. Reduced plant staff by 19% (from 27 to 22 employees). Negotiated Reduced Dispatch Agreement with Utility and various new contracts. Administered the land spreading of our ash. Prepare the plant yearly budget and all plans and reports submitted to the MDEQ, DOE & EPA.
