My key role was to diagnose, strip, clean, repair, rebuild and test to component level the faults on AC/DC inverter and servo drives ranging from 0.37kW to 350kW and a wide range of other industrial electronic products, with the highest level of quality and in a timely manner for customer satisfaction. This ranged from the use of standard workshop, repair, test and measurement equipment, to custom built test boxes, test pods and numerous software applications ranging from ABB to Yaskawa, to aide in checking communication problems, adjusting parameters to load test units on our test rig, showing the fault history/log and saving customer’s parameters as backup. Low voltage test of control boards to identify faults before complete unit power up and test. Build test boxes to aide in future repairs which incorporated wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
