Phil has done a tremendous job leading growth at Atlantic University Sport (AUS). He has a vision for what university sport can become in our region and he is directly responsible for the significant steps the AUS has taken toward this vision. Perhaps what impresses me most about Phil is his professionalism in every situation. He has great decision making skills and he is at the same time strong, fair and respectful to all parties he deals with. I have learned many things from Phil and I continue to enjoy all my dealings with him. Last fall when Mount Allison University hosted the Uteck Bowl (CIS National Semi-Final Game) we had the benefit of Phil's leadership to guide us. He, along with his talented team at the AUS, helped transformed our venue and our event into and afternoon to define a generation for our football program.

The hallmark of Phil's professional career must be his reputation for integrity and reliability. He's a consumate professional who know his trade, always delivering on his duties and his commitments. I don't think I know anyone with the diversity of talent and skill that Phil humbly has nurtured. If doing battle, Phil is one of those people I'd want in the trench with me ... he's a solid guy.
