Brigid Mahar
During my time at World Vision, I had the opportunity to work with Phearak on several projects. He was always a pleasure to work with, making reliable contributions and demonstrating commitment and dedication to the role. He has a great strength in his ability to see the big picture as well as demonstrating excellent attention to detail. He has a broad range of experience in International Development and a strong understanding of community development work.

I worked with Phearak in developing a successful $10M grant proposal for the AusAID Civil Society WASH Fund. During this intense period, Phearak provided strong technical and project design input into proposal development and writing. We travelled together to host a design workshop in Sri Lanka where Phearak utilised his strong relationship management and brokering skills to help develop a strong project concept that also ticked many donor requirements. Throughout the intense proposal development period, Phearak remained a calm, collected and supportive presence. He then went on to be the Civil Society WASH Program Manager and led the three country grant through the successful detailed design and inception period. I would not hesitate to work with Phearak again.
