Among my duties: ‣ Providing the overall direction, oversight, and leadership for our team. ‣ I run pharmacy processes and deliverables. ‣ Handle prior-authorizations, and emerging products. ‣ Manage Clinical Pharmacists assigned to support our business operations. ‣ Review cases and authorize pharmecautical treatment supported by evidence-based medicine. ‣ Track drug shortages and their impact; conduct drug policy, guidelines, and scientific literature searches to evaluate if therapy is consistent with evidence and requirements. ‣ Evaluate local regulations and disseminate the details within the company and our company database. ‣ Maintain drugs, billing codes, and respective pricing within the company database. ‣ Maintain accurate records of all interventions and communications and provide timely verbal or written assessments on each case reviewed. ‣ Excellent use of SAP software. ‣ Supply, storage, maintenance and disposal in the various departments of the clinic. ‣ Responsible for management of medicines. ‣ Order, supply and receipt of medicines of the clinic. ‣ Checking and returning stock of medicines in case of expiration ‣ Implementation of appropriate disposal systems and in general handling and monitoring of the pharmacy under the responsibility of the pharmacy for its safe administration and use by patients and its good care and maintenance in the various nursing and other departments of the clinic. ‣ Excellent cooperation with the medical, nursing and administrative staff.
