  A brief summary of my work : • Impacted 130+ first-generation high school students in a Low Income Private School in Hyderabad, named KARE School by teaching English, Social Studies, Sciences and Life Skills. • Extensively worked on building problem solving and critical thinking skills among students, by working on their comprehension abilities of the English Language, thereby reducing gap to grade by 3 years. • Supported teachers of KARE School with pedagogy and classroom management strategies, by taking Master Classes and conducting Teacher Training Sessions • Worked with the parents of the community by interacting with them, visiting their homes on a regular basis to invest them in their child's education • Supported the Teach For India Hydrabad Fellows with pedagogy, classroom culture and lesson planning by taking sessions and having one - on - one feedback conversations, as a Fellow Advisor of Hyderabad, one among the 10 selected Fellow Advisors out of 52 Fellows. • Selected as one of the 7 finalists of TIJ - Transformational Impact Journey (Fellows who have attained personal transformation and have transformed their classrooms/children) for the Teach For India Cohort of 2017 Show less
