I appreciate how the job forced me to get out of my comfort zone and learn to communicate with people in stressful situations.   During my short time at the Portage Golf Club, I worked as a part of the maintenance crew. I would wake up early in the mornings and help with various tasks like raking the bunkers, mowing the grass, and moving fallen trees. Working at the golf course was a key factor in building up my teamwork skills. All of the workers relied on one another, so we made sure we worked hard and efficiently for each other.
