  WINERY With a capacity of vinification of 2 million liters per year, which includes latest technology laboratory, an amazing barrel room with more that 2.000 american and french oak barrels and a bottling plant, recently renovated in 2015 with 2 parallel lines. All the process from de vineyards to the packaging under HACCP certification. Most important, a great team of people, winemakers, vintners, technicians and engineers. Pewen Wines has vines that are more than 25 years old on its 200-hectare estate, which are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. During the ripening period,in January and February, the temperature ranges from a minimum of 11°C to a maximum of 34°C. This temperature variation promotes concentrated tannins that enhance aromas and colors, especially in the red varieties. The temperate Mediterranean climate has a 4 to 5 month dry season with cold, moderate rainy winters and approximately 600mm of annual precipitation.
