  I worked as journalist in Sompio, local newspaper of Sodankylä, Finland. I was in responsible for writing and photographing my own articles which ranged from shorter news to spread-wide feature stories. I also assisted in editorial work and layout design. In a nutshell: I do a lot from different fields. And I like it. I have sharpened my skills in content creation and marketing in practice. Our social media visibility has increased through more responsive actions, e.g. discussing with people on social media. My ongoing goal is to keep looking for (and of course trying out!) new media tools for easier and innovative ways of communication and promotion. Success stories -I renewed Tamko's website in cooperation with Tyrni Media in 2015 -coaching other student unions for effective social media use and internal communication -I designed and created "Opiskelijan Supervihko" -booklet for university students in Tampere in 2014. My client was Opiskelijan Tampere, non-profit organisation providing services for students of the region. Booklet was printed with amount of 15,000 pieces. Project was success and I got great feedback from my superiors.
