Petra was my supervisor at ACES while I was an ESL instructor. Beginning with my first interview, I could tell that Petra was very passionate, organized and excited about her work and in ensuring that students were getting the best education they could. Her ability to plan an entire ESL program, in addition to managing instructors (and overseeing students), demonstrated her leadership and organizational skills in a very clear manner. While teaching, she provided me with the guidance and structure I needed to be a successful instructor. Moreover, I assisted her with several administrative tasks, and she continuously checked in to make sure I understood what needed to be done and to assist in any way possible. Her sense of humor and eagerness to connect with instructors and students is also very admirable and makes the learning environment very enjoyable. I am thankful for my experiences working with Petra and I am confident that she will continue to bring success in her future endeavors.
