Petra is a highly dedicated & committed fundraiser with a real talent for developing & maintaining relationships. Due to her management skills and attention to detail she has the ability to deliver projects to time and to a very high standard. She is incredibly reliable and conscientious. Her great relationship management skills mean she is able to navigate the varying challenges and demands of supporters with tact and professionalism and she is always focused on the end result. Petra worked for the Hospice for many years and in many roles and was well liked by all of her colleagues throughout that period. She is a great team player and I wouldn't hesitate to endorse her.

I would be happy to recommend Petra. I worked with her during the St Peter’s Hospice Capital Appeal as a member of the Fundraising Committee. Her support for the work of the committee, in particular the Ruby Dinner, was exemplary and played a large part in its undoubted success. It’s a difficult role, to chivvy, encourage, support and ask others for help and hard cash. Petra skillfully navigated the pitfalls and used her flair for communication and positive attitude to huge success. As a result, Icon Films chose St Peter’s Hospice, as their charity of the year, and as a company we benefited from her expertise in helping us with the activities we chose to raise money.

Successfully managed the public phase of the ‘Room to Care Appeal’ fundraising and marketing programmes with the objective to raise a shortfall of £1.53m needed to finish the £6.53m project. We achieved this in just over 10 months, 2 months ahead of the schedule. During the Capital Appeal I also planned and delivered the high profile ‘Ruby Dinner’ event which was hosted by Joanna Lumley OBE whose support I secured through my fundraiser network. The sold-out event was the most successful event of its type in the Hospice’s 40-year history with 350 guests raising a total of £115k towards the Appeal, £35k above target.
