Pete is a fantastic operator with an incredible network in the Melbourne market. Upon contacting Pete, he took time to understand what I was looking for, and just as importantly, what I was not looking for. He then quickly presented a strong list of very interesting options. After some interviews and great support from Pete, this list was shortlisted to 3 opportunities, all of which I was genuinely excited about. Unfortunately, a change in my family situation meant I was unable to to complete the process, but I have no hesitation in recommending Pete, and he will be the first person I call when I am looking to re-enter the Melbourne market.

      Back in the day, on occasion, certain Recruiters would be called "Cowboys". But as far as I can tell, the only thing the Recruiters in this group have in common with cowboys/gals, is the wagon that they proudly sit upon. So, welcome to the “Recruiters Wagon”… Just a bunch of Recruiters who don’t drink. Nothing more. Nothing less. We don’t accept that you have to drink to be successful in the recruitment industry nowadays. We think that idea is a bit 1990s. We also feel privileged, and dare I say it, a tiny bit smug about the fact that we’ve experienced the career benefits of not drinking. So this is a group of Recruiters who support each other, connect over this shared life choice, offer each other tips and advice for staying true to the quest, remind each other of why we made this life changing decision, whilst occasionally taking the piss out of our daft selves. We also (and this bit is VERY important) warmly welcome anybody into this group who has any kind of interest in wagon life. You don’t have to be sober, teetotal, abstinent, detoxed, or even rehab’d … You simply have to respect the group, and have an interest (passing, or otherwise) in this particular life choice. You need to be wagon-curious. We won’t question or judge you. And you don’t even have to say anything if you don’t want. Keep your gob shut and just listen, if you wish. That’s fine with us.
