During his time with View Business Services, Peter proved to be incredibly resourceful, technically skilled and knowledgeable of our industry. He always had an efficient strategy lined up to make his projects go smoothly and was excellent in communicating his ideas to the rest of the team. He was able to able to manage complex stakeholder environments and understood the politics of strategy well

Peter and I worked together at SkyCity where we had the pleasure of planning a range of live entertainment covering bars, restaurants, events, live musicians, comedy shows, staged events, DJ's and comperes to cover 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The fact that this was pleasurable was completely down to Peter's expertise, his eye for detail, empathy with performers, and incredible organisational skill. His proficiency in 360 supply chain management, from artist and supplier liaison, through contract negotiation and procurement, to delivery, reconciliation and improvement was second to none. He improved our output a hundred fold, took control of a very complex stakeholder environment, taking multiple lines of feedback and processing this to improve product delivery, and managed complex procurement processes via Peoplesoft ERP. He did all of this whilst never losing his love of the end result, and the focus on the end user experience.

Results were due to: o Initiated use of Lean Construction “Last Planner” Visual Management Techniques o Behavioural change by FCC participants resulting in collaboration between sub-contractors where little if any formal collaboration was observed prior. o Constraint identification and removal or mitigation o Greater (more relevant) allocation and monitoring of critical path tasks o Significant clawback of schedule slippage (on one project 6 weeks clawback over a six week period). o Substantial (500%) increase in tasks attained on one of the "mega-sites" over the initial period of monitoring which dropped off after my involvement.
