Johan de Ruiter
I have worked with Peter during his early years with Fresenius Medical Care AG in Germany while he was an international product manager in the marketing department. He and one other colleague were the most dynamic, driven and enthusiastic marketeers in the department of 20 people. Since that time he has made a great career with Fresenius Medical Care, predominantly in Asia. Peter is very driven, liked by his colleagues, subordinates and superiors and very knowledgeable from a product point of view. I hired him later as the Managing Director Asia Pacific for Aircast LLC, a US leader in functional therapies (orthopedic products, orthotics) in which he again did a fabulous job. Our business was miniscule at the time and Peter was able to build a sizeable and profitable business setting up warehousing, local logistics, assigning new distributors, negotiating realistic market prices, etc. In Australia/NZ he went direct which resulted in a more profitable and better manageable business. One other strength of Peter is his self motivation, excellent contact building with opinion leaders, distributors, his staff, peers and superiors. When I have a chance I would hire him again and can recommend him for any management position or consulting assignment in marketing/sales in healthcare worldwide.
