Hence the name "Principal" rather than "Principle". We sold a number of WMS solutions, developed a credit information and loss adjusting system. Some of our clients included the Doyle Hotel group and Thornton and Partners. We also inherited a number of Wang VS Speed II customers from Wang Ireland after they closed down in Ireland. Our WMS product and client base steadily grew particularly in the 3PL Cold Storage and Chemical markets. In 1998 we re-developed the product from scratch in a windows environment specifically suited to the 3PL market and began to focus on this product, In-DEX. In 2001 we made the decision to focus solely on the WMS market which is the market we serve today. Show less

Jun 1992 - Sep 1993
Dublin, Ireland I joined Vision with a view to developing, promoting and selling the WMS product further. This was a one year trial for developing and selling the WMS as packaged software and while Vision supported this completely, owning and developing software products was not a direction that they were heading at that time. After the year trial, I left and formed Principal Systems Ltd.
