While working for Peter, I was continually impressed with his leadership abilities, business acumen, empathy/compassion towards others, and technical depth and breadth. In addition to being an exceptional leader, he is also a very good manager: balancing busy deadlines, shifting priorities, and technical advising while consistently making progress towards larger organizational goals. To add to his list of admirable qualities, Peter also has very sharp technical skills. Multiple times, during times of great stress, he got down into the weeds and wrote code to solve a high priority problem that the team was either too busy to do or did not have the current knowledge to do quickly enough at the time. In every case, he successfully handed the code off to his team and empowered them to take ownership and improve upon the groundwork he had laid. In less stressful times, he organically encouraged us to come up with solutions to technical problems — ultimately becoming better engineers in the process. Created distributed applications part of the "Test Development Platform" which utilize Node.js backends coupled with AngularJS frontends to provide private-cloud deployed environments to accelerate Test Engineering functions inside organizations. Deployments utilize container technology (Docker) and Kubernetes for fault-tolerance. Created core web services framework called KCS (Keysight Cloud Services) which all future distributed applications use for common services. Authored paper and abstract which was presented in the Keysight Technical Conference 2018.

Designed on-bike calibration techniques and diagnostic mechanisms. Worked with local contract manufacturers for PC production for the Expresso platform.
