SDL is a private company which I joined as a cornerstone investor in 2013. In 2013 SDL was granted approval to operate a VET college for international students. Operating as Southern Cross School of Business since 2014, I have undertaken a variety of roles as the college has evolved since its establishment. These have included: interpreting and assisting with compliance protocols as per the sector regulator, namely ASQA. Undertaking business development activities with regard to student recruitment. Development and delivery of short courses across a variety of business areas.

IT Support Manager and Business Analyst
-
Aug 2010 - Aug 2012
As IT Support Manager, I was responsible for a small team of IT support staff who provided day-to-day support for systems, introducing appropriate metrics for resolving and reporting on unit’s performance, including major upgrade to IT infrastructure. As Project and Business Analyst, I prepared a business case for the replacement of the College’s aging disparate administration systems, undertaking a detail business requirement analysis which provided the basis for a package solution. I managed the process of the package selection, which included a detail assessment of various packages abilities to meet the college’s complex requirements, providing the board with a recommendation on selection and implementation strategy.
