Peter and I co-chaired a national research project on New Models of Senior Centers as requested by then NISC president, Bob Pittman. It was a huge undertaking covering senior centers throughout the entire nation, but Peter was an organized task master who delegated work in a responsible, respectable manner. He brought a huge project to completion with his commitment, dependability, confidence and amazing leadership skills which brought out the best in those he worked with. I had the distinct pleasure of presenting this body of research with Peter at national and state conferences. He is an engaging, confident, expert speaker who knows his material, and it shows. It was a pleasure working with him on this venture. I know I grew stronger in my leadership abilities by working alongside Peter, and I look forward to working with him on another project to build and/or showcase the professionalism of senior centers.
