I was also heavily involved in the creation and operation of anti-metal theft operations for the utilities industry. Contracts I was responsible for were geographically dispersed throughout the UK, and principally involved customers in the utilities and power generation industries.

  This was a short notice secondment which encompassed the period of the Olympic and Paralympic games. I was tasked with leading the deployment and assurance team, with responsibity for all workforce matters relating to the Olympic Parc security teams. This included the successful daily deployment and utilisation of upwards of 2.5K personnel of differing grades and skills, across a complex and multi shift environment. My assurance team ensured that the contractually mandated activities and standards of the workforce were being adhered to throughout games time; utilising a variety of methods, including secret shopper teams and low level penetration testing.
