Youth Program Director

May 2015 - Present
As the group leader of the Hungarian Red Cross Budapest Branch Youth Department my main responsibilities revolve around the main aspects of the humanitarian organization: first aid, training volunteers and fundraising (mostly at our annual christmas fundraising event). We educate children and youngsters for first aid (both elementary and secondary level) in Budapest, and organize the Red Cross's first aid competition in Budapest. During the summer, we invite volunteers to our summer camps and various youth trainings where they can learn the essentials in first aid, emergency simulation and team building excercises. Show less

I was a substitute teacher for three groups in a secondary school, while the original faculty member was rehabilitating. The groups were in different levels (beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate), and I was responsible for 6 lessons per week in total. Sep 2016 - Oct 2016
My main task was to visit the satistically chosen people, based on a list of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, and ask them the questions of the 2016 census. Although responding was mandatory for the selected citizens, I needed to be presistent, flexible and inventive to find the people and persuade them to provide answer not only for the necessary questions, but also for the thorough ones.
