At Wessex Academic Health Science Network our passion is health-related innovation, and our purpose is to support innovators get their products and ideas into the NHS market place, and to help NHS colleagues find the innovations they seek. The Industry & Innovation team offers tailored personal support and guidance through this often complex field, from initial approach to (for the right product) national adoption, on the way advising on trials and evaluations, funding applications, business modelling and implementation at early-adopter sites. If you're an innovator I would be delighted to speak to you about your idea, product or service, whatever stage of technological readiness you're at - whether you're working alone, a small enterprise or a large corporation. People come to us at any point in their development process, from inception to fully-developed product which needs support to gain traction in the market. With my extensive career and experience in technological roles in NHS secondary care my priority is to get you exactly the support and opportunity you need to take your innovation into the healthcare market. Alternatively, if you're working in the NHS and see a need that can't be met by existing products and services, my privilege is to help make introductions to all the organisations and agencies you need to either have your innovation developed into a product for you, or to develop it yourself. We understand to challenges in this process, and have experience in supporting and protecting you and your innovation.
