  As Purchase Manager it has been the responsibility to implement a new sourcing strategy for the company’s three Swedish profit centers in Göteborg, Malmö and Stockholm, through synchronization and coordination of their purchase functions. The alignment of the purchase functions of the company in accordance to the company’s purchase strategy has been beneficial for each profit center as well as for the company as a whole. Some of the synergies are shortened lead-times combined with continuous cuts of spending.

  As head of Purchase department the responsibilities have been multiple over the years, though one of several have been to develop as well as to carry out the daily dealings of the purchase department in accordance to the company´s sourcing strategy. The purchase department consists of three persons. Another important responsibility has been to establish, improve and develop contacts and relationships with suppliers based on negotiated supplier agreements. This has been an important part of the company’s strategic goals which has contributed to the company's favorable development over the years through substantially increased sales but with more or less an unchanged inventory value. Important synergies of the work have resulted in altered turnover of the inventory and reduced capital costs of the company.
