Wadi Degla Holding (WDH) is a global holding company with a diversified portfolio spanning 16 countries, including operations in the sports, telecommunications, real estate development, food & beverage, media, and education sectors.As an International Business Development Director, I orchestrate the identification, execution, and launch of new business operations in foreign markets to help grow the WDH international footprint. The first step in this process is to conduct and present field research, technical analysis, and competitor analysis to WDH stakeholders to select our target business development region. Once the region has been selected, I am then responsible for building relationships and negotiating partnerships with public and private sector leaders in the area. This includes serving as the face and voice of WDH to build trust, credibility, and excitement about WDH’s involvement in the region. After a business partnership is established, I am then responsible for managing all aspects of our foreign partner relations to ensure the success of our new business venture. During my tenure as International Business Development Director, I sourced and closed deals currently valued in excess of $400M. My most significant and recent project was the establishment of a brewery mega-project in Ethiopia.
