Peter is fantastic Director & Producer. Have worked with him for a few years now & he’s great to work for. Certainly knows his stuff, calm under pressure & thinks outside the box which is great when collaborating as we can bounce ideas of each other & it usually leads to some great creative content. Highly recommended!

Having hired and worked with Peter many times I chose him as I knew he'd always deliver. He puts his all into whatever project he works on and treats all production or post production issues as challenges rather than problems. He's so passionate and knowledgable about 360VR production and post production and is always my first point-of-call whenever I need advice or an opinion on any technical, workflow or logistical issues that often arise in such a rapidly evolving medium. He's a terrific 360VR Dop, VR Supervisor and a wizard at VR Post and can't recommend him highly enough. He's also a wonderful human and a pleasure to be around.

I own the performance marketing creative strategy, execution and production for Supercell’s portfolio of live games. I closely partner with marketing stakeholders and game teams to develop the right creative plan for each game and own the feedback loop between internal and external partners. In addition I work closely with marketers for each game on testing and implementation of new creatives, analysing the results and sharing learnings with game teams and our partners to improve performance of future concepts and iterations. At every crucial stage I provide creative feedback and direction independently without extensive input from artists or other functions. To ensure that we produce the best creative I manage existing partner relationships, in addition to sourcing new partners that will enable us to level up the quality and quantity of our creatives. As a producer you have to wear several hats - acting as a client liaison, directing live productions, post-producing and supporting your productions in any possible capacity across digital and traditional content. Responsibilities: Hiring staff for the production, crew, cast and building the perfect team for post production. Coordinating the activities of writers, directors, managers, actors, and other personnel throughout the production process. Establishing management policies. Approving major production changes. Monitoring post-production processes to ensure accurate completion of details. Performing management activities such as overseeing budgeting, scheduling, planning. At WeMakeVR I directed, captured, edited, stitched and jumped in wherever I was needed. When we began a production I had oversight from the initial client briefing through to the distribution of the project. I used the knowledge and creative expertise of the team around me to create compelling stories that captured the attention of the audience and left them with those goofy smiles whilst wearing a VR headset. I produced work for ING, Tommy Hilfiger, Massive Music, QMusic, Submarine Channel and Nestle. In March, we were awarded the Gold Prize at the Dutch VR Awards for the best immersive 360 video for Ashes to Ashes and most recently it received the Prize cup at the GCC award ceremony of Shanghai International Film Festival 2017. In addition Ashes to Ashes VR was part of the VR library at the Cannes Film Festival. I was the Director of Photography and Post-Production Supervisor for this production. At the Dutch VR Awards WeMakeVR also took home Bronze in the same category for Project Orpheus VR for which I was Director and Bronze for Interactive VR for Beat the Street which was directed by my colleague Leon Van OordSince then the team at WeMakeVR has continued to push the boundaries of Virtual Reality Productions and the time frame in which they can be created. This was demonstrated in the 48HFP Competition where we competed at both the Nijmegen and Amsterdam and won on both occasions.Dutch VR AwardsGold Award Best Immersive Experience -Ashes to AshesPrize cup at the GCC award ceremony of Shanghai International Film Festival 2017Ashes to Ashes48 Hour Film Project Competition Nijmegan - Winner Best 360 FilmAmsterdam - Winner Best 360 FilmTommy Spring Collection 2017Shown at Paris Fashion Week Show less

After Directing the Project Orpheus VR Experience and witnessing it's success I didn't want to return to the U.K. straight away. I spoke to Avinash Changa the founder and creative wizard at WeMakeVR to see if there was an opportunity within his company, as we worked closely on Project Orpheus VR. I was involved in all aspects of the production pipe-line from stitching, script proposals, 360 camera operating and various other elements within VR/360 Film Production. During this period of time I directed a helicopter shoot in the Faroe Islands and worked as a stitcher on a project for Tommy Hilfiger featuring Gigi Hadid.Gigi X TommyDutch VR AwardsNominee Best Marketing VR Show less

    • Director - The Project Orpheus VR Experience
      • Aug 2015 - Feb 2016

This position was an incredibly big step for me both personally and in terms of my career. Whilst freelancing I was beginning to lose the passion that I had in making films. I was working on weddings, commercials and occasionally a short film and that was where my passion was, in the craft of storytelling. Whilst looking at alternative avenues I came across an opening to be part of an experiment in Amsterdam, where I would be working with partners to investigate the use of narrative in virtual reality. I moved to the Netherlands and dove straight in familiarizing myself with the technology and what the creators out there had already done with it. The project evolved into being the first VR/360 film to accompany a Dutch television drama, the Project Orpheus VR Experience. There was a collection of partners including AVROTROS, WeMakeVR, NL Film, Vondel CS and ACIN . The project was very well received and was a platform to establish myself as a VR Director. Whilst working as a Runner at Envy Post-Production I put all of my earnings aside and gradually invested in my own filming equipment in order to be able to freelance without the overheads of using a rental company. During this period of time I created content for a concentrated client base including Sony Cinema Europe, The Big Green Egg and Marks and Spencer. - Concepting - Meeting Client needs - Video Production - Editing Post-Production - Online Distribution - Grading - Branded Content - Cross Platform Show less

I was advised by people that I trusted and saw as mentors to make a start in the film industry by working as a runner for a post-production house as this would be the perfect start for getting my foot in the door and making valuable contacts. The job itself was simple and responsibilities included providing cover for front of house staff and assisting the client services manager in supporting clients in the post-production suites. Additional responsibilities included tea making, grabbing lunch for busy editors and locking up the edit suites in the early hours of the morning once the editors had finished their work. I stayed there for 6 months, expanded my network and started freelancing. - Offline Runner - Client Services - Library Maintenance - Logging - Administration - Getting a foot in the door and making contacts Show less

I'm incredibly proud of the end result of my graduation film, it was by far the most ambitious project of my academic year . The Hampshire Highwayman is a dark comedy set in the 18th Century film, my fellow peers and I converted a 17th Century vault underneath Southampton City into a fully working set, we were lucky enough to be given help from an experienced special effects crew from pinewood studios. The exteriors for the film were shot in the New Forest, which was easily accessible. The film contained stunt horses, explosions, guns and the excessive consumption of alcohol. - Directing - 4k - Stunt Horses - Set Conversions Show less
