Bio
Annie Bernberg
As my editorial director of Test Prep at Barron’s Educational Series, Pete was an extremely supportive source of strength. He always offered his help and guidance whenever possible. He encouraged new ideas, from emerging markets, growing new titles, and innovative technologies to meet the evolving needs of our readers. He found new vendors and researched in-house technologies to improve our processes. Pete negotiated contracts with vendors and new authors. He also helped editors who struggled with difficult authors or unique situations. Pete kept the publication of new editions moving, establishing clear schedules with multiple departments from editorial, production, finance, and marketing. By planning ahead, Pete helped us stay on top of titles with regular editions and made sure we were able to follow our schedule. Pete is also an excellent person to work with. He greatly cares about his employees and coworkers as well as authors. Overall, Pete was a caring and dedicated manager who led our department to great accomplishments and success.
Brian Stewart
I had the pleasure of working with Peter on several test preparation books at Barron's Educational Series. Peter is an outstanding manager with time-sensitive, complex projects. He always clearly communicated what needed to be accomplished, and had excellent creative insights into what materials would be most marketable to customers. Peter has my highest recommendation for any role in marketing, communications, or management.
