  Peter founded Structure Workshop in 2004 and has more than 25 years’ experience in the design of building structures. During this time, he has worked with many award-winning Architects and internationally recognised artists, realising a series of innovative and design-led projects. At Structure Workshop Peter leads a team of engineers with an engaged, and technically creative approach to design. Their projects range from historic structures through to contemporary architecture and public art. A low carbon approach lies at the heart of this work, alongside a love of materials and its considered application to building structures. Recent projects that Peter has led include The Fratry at Carlisle Cathedral which received a RIBA National award in 2022, and Homerton College Dining Hall in Cambridge which won both Structures and overall Gold at The Wood Awards 2022.
