Previous role managing Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Business Systems and IT policy for the Fairview Group of Companies. Peter is an experienced leader who focuses primarily on complex IT projects and implementations. He recently successfully completed the project management and implementation from proof of concept to go-live of our new group wide ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3). As Customer PM and key Technical lead on this project: • Ultimately responsible for the overall delivery of Dynamics AX ERP to the Fairview Group. • Full and complete ownership of implementation project budget and financial resourcing and reporting. • Responsible for overall governance of the project, reporting directly to senior level stakeholders. • Liaised with internal clients and external consultants during analysis and design workshops. • Defining and documenting the Fairview business integration requirements. • Designing Integration model to integrate Dynamics AX with internally developed business systems. • Data migration (via DIEF) and data cleansing services. • Designed Infrastructure Architecture for Dynamics AX solution (Virtual Services / Scaling & Disaster Recovery Design). • Instrumental in the design, configuration and setup during Fit/Gap Analysis for Finance, Trade & Logistics and integration services. • Setup & Configuration of Fairview Manufacturing process in AX (i.e Production Planning for both BOMs & Routes, Machining, Assembly & Inventory Control). • Full security setup (Process Cycle / Record level security). • Lead on Integration and Infrastructure Track. • Microsoft SureStep Agile implementation methodology & Coaching, • POC design and presentation to the Business Leaders. Additionally, Peter has lead the implementation of the LiSEC glass manufacturing software for the Glass Relate business. Peter's professional background is as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Systems & Exchange) and has a Bachelor of Information Systems.
