I have performed this work for various client railroads and transit agencies.I have worked on projects of varying size, from simple to complex, ranging from an all-relay based diamond crossing of two single tracks to large terminals and control points with up to 22 microprocessor in size.   Four colleagues and I started our own signal design firm, Superior Signal Design, Inc. My initial title was Vice President Operations. We sold our company to Southwest Signal Engineering, closing the sale on September 1, 2006. At the time of sale, I was company President. Southwest Signal Engineering was later sold, its name changing to Xorail in 2008. Xorail is a subsidiary company of Wabtec, an international supplier to the rail and transit industries. My employment with Southwest Signal Engineering and Xorail has been continuous since our sale of Superior Signal Design.At Superior Signal Design my duties encompassed both executive and engineering roles.
