Peter Huff was, in many ways, the engine behind AIE in Seattle. In his 5+ year tenure with our college, Pete was an integral part of the start-up of our US operations. While the largest part of his duties involved our marketing, events, and outreach efforts, Pete had a hand in most every aspect of day-to-day operations. His well-deserved nickname on campus was "Mr. Fix-it" because if something wasn't working, Pete would take every step to ensure that it got back online. As an employee, I would most note Pete for his conscientiousness. From the smallest detail to the largest initiatives, Pete had a true concern that it be done well and with integrity. He holds my implicit trust in every aspect of his broad job. In all cases, I knew that the project had been thought through, scheduled accurately, staffed appropriately, and would come in on or under budget. Pete has a broad skill set that could be applicable to many future positions. Finally, I'll note that Pete departed from AIE on the best terms with a smooth transition as he sought some newly opened opportunities. He was a well respected and friendly member of the team, always ready to help someone bring their ideas to fruition. For most any future position, I suggest that an employer bring Peter Huff in for an interview, as he is sure to make a memorable impression. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if I could be of assistance.

Pete possesses strong organizational and leadership skills that enable him to smoothly carry out the marketing and events that happen 24/7 here at AIE. The first time I heard someone refer to Pete as the "duck tape" of our organization I knew exactly what he meant. Pete always finds a way to make things work. He is reliable, creative and a great member of any team. Even in the middle of a huge industry event Pete can calmly coordinate and not miss any details.
