In Peter's nearly nine years at Lee Lumber I found Peter to be refreshingly candid, and ethical. In his position as credit and collection manager he was always fair minded, even tempered and looked toward settlement rather than suit. Peter is more than a good lawyer; he is a good person. As we wound down the operations of Lee Lumber, Peter stayed and assisted in many ways beyond his job description. Unlike others, he never asked for "stay bonus" or guarantees, he just kept working. I can't imagine anyone regretting hiring or working with Peter.

I have known Peter for almost 20 years. I have worked both with and for him.. Through all this time, he has proven to be an excellent attorney. My direct dealings were primarily in litigation while we worked together and when we were on opposing side. He had a feel for the correct, winning approach and was able to accomplish his goal in a manner that was effective from both a strategic and cost effective basis. While he has most recently worked with collection and credit, he retained my services as outside counsel and directed my cases to successful conclusions. I find Peter to hold himself to high standards both ethically and legally and recommend him without reservation.

I've been studying martial arts and self-defense since 1984, with a focus on Kenpo Karate, Krav Maga, Escrima, Hapkido, and Martial Blade Concepts. I now take the simplest and most effective strikes, techniques and concepts from each of these systems and teach basic self-defense to students from teens through seniors. BDC can provide everything from hands-on self-defense training to presentations on self-defense and the law, in private lessons or in group settings tailored to the needs and concerns of your business or organization.

In 2019, Peter met Jeff Niklaus, founder of Compliant Technologies, at the 2019 GSX Security Expo in Chicago, and experienced The G.L.O.V.E. (“Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter”) for the first time. After feeling the effects of the GLOVE personally, Peter was convinced this easy to use, and very effective product, needed to be made available to all law enforcement agencies, and soon thereafter he became a Master Instructor and Distributor for Compliant Technologies. Peter is now traveling to law enforcement and security conferences, meeting with law enforcement agencies and officers throughout the Midwest, and introducing them to CT’s new line of conducted electrical weapons, designed to help law enforcement and security officers quickly bring suspects into compliance. Because of the reduced amount of force required to gain compliance while using The G.L.O.V.E., officers and suspects suffer fewer, if any, injuries.
