Peter is a world class recruiter and someone that can be trusted to look out for your best interests. Pete and I have been friendly for over 7 years and he has served as a career coach for me since I graduated from college in 2008. Pete was always willing to lend an ear whenever I was considering a career move and consistently shared an authentic perspective that aided my decision making process. While attending a conference on the East Coast, Pete traveled out of his way to make dinner plans me with me and we started discussing my long-term career goals. Pete followed up after dinner to continue our conversation which ultimately helped me to gain greater clarity over where I wanted to head and the current marketplace. Pete is well informed and well connected and has access to a wide range of professionals that he's happy to help you tap into as you consider a career move. Pete has visited many audit shops during his years and is able to share firsthand knowledge of whether a prospective audit shop would be a good fit for your individuals wants/needs. I was impressed by Pete's understanding of IT Audit as he was able to help me tailor my resume to a technical audience...he's actually quite the "Resume Guru" for those seeking some additional help! I sent Pete what seemed like hundreds of links to job postings and he was able to help me filter through those that made the most sense and arrange interviews for me. Pete responds almost instantly to e-mails and is a great communicator and consistently makes the time for his candidates. Prior to interviews, Pete helped me prepare and gave me great tips/keys to success that were VERY HELPFUL during the interviews. For example, Pete advised me to read the 10-K of companies I was interviewing at and through that, I identified company-specific relevant points which both impressed my Interviewers and also helped me to appear well prepared which is very important for a first impression. Once offers were made, Pete helped me to understand the pros and cons of the different jobs and ultimately helped me to make a decision. For those seeking a career advocate, Pete is the best I've come across in my 7 years in the IT Audit profession. I view Pete as both a friend and a career coach and feel valued when we speak.
