I served as the Department of Defense Information Network Branch Manager for the Army Cyberspace Operations and Integration Center. I was Responsible for monitoring, directing, controlling, coordinating, synchronizing, and reporting the current status of all DOD Information Network Operations. I reduced the threat of the WannaCry ransomware attacks by 95% by identifying and mitigating the risk. I provided staff analysis to the Staff in all endpoint security matters and transitioned 531,235 assets to an Enterprise Endpoint Security Solution increasing the Army’s ability to deploy security measures. I redefined the host base security baseline for 652,670 endpoints by standardizing seven Army HBSS ePolicy Orchestrators. I collaborated with other Commands, Cyber Protection Teams, Regional Cyber Centers and Joint Forces to configure, secure, operate, maintain and sustain the Army’s portion of the DOD Information Network. Directed $5M in IT equipment lifecycle replacement without loss or impact to ongoing operations. I was Responsible for the training of all military, DA Civilians, and contractors in the branch.
