  As Assistant Head of Humanities I work directly with the Head of Department to operate a humanities faculty of 15 teachers over 10 different subject areas. This involves decision making and liaising on a multitude of issues regarding teachers, students, parents, administrative staff and the wider school community. As the most senior Geography teacher at the school I am responsible for program direction, assessment planning and fieldwork activities across every grade. This involves constant reflection and striving for best practice. As Sutherland House Leader I am directly responsible for 100+ students and their involvement in school activities. Students queries regarding a wide range of activities are directed to me and I am involved in organising my house in School wide sporting activities.
