  I was promoted to a staff position with SFCV, one of classical music’s leading online publications, in 2020. I work with a small team of editors to find and develop stories that have a California connection but often make a national impact. I communicate with a roster of writers and press contacts, work in all aspects of editing and publishing, and write about 50 articles a year.

  I was hired as a freelance editor as SFCV expanded its coverage in both the Bay Area and Los Angeles. I continued to write for the website as well as fact-check, line edit, and copyedit other writers’ articles. I also took responsibility of the organization’s social media pages, helping SFCV grow its audience and establish itself on new platforms.
