I was a solicitor's articled clerk (1978 to 1982) at this this firm and then an associate solicitor before I became a partner (first salaried and then equity). As a partner I headed up the project to acquire additional office space in Dartford including the purchase and refurbishment of an additional building. An interesting project I was involved with was I was jointly, and ultimately solely, in charge of the acquisition and installation of a new telephone system linking four office sites in Dartford to a single exchange with direct responsibility for liaising with the contractors. As part of my general duties I was the head of the Family, Conveyancing and Probate Wills and Trusts Department assisted by two Assistant Solicitors and a Conveyancing Executive with 4 secretaries and support staff running out of the site. My direct areas of practice generally similar to the areas of work when I was at Cattermoles. Show less
