During my time at Obeden, I defined and setup the testing strategies, and successfully drove automated and manual testing over multiple time zones. Obeden compliance consists of GDPR, UK GDPR (DPA2018), PDPA compliance assessments and Survey management systems. I have been responsible for developing system test documentation, testing strategies and department organisation. I have been involved and contributed to the Three Amigo's sessions, estimating, stand-ups and sprint retrospectives. In addition, I reviewed the management and compliance of global platform documentation, and the testing of the UI across multiple platforms. Show less

I’ve spent the past four and a half years working within the test function of Comcarde where I have defined and set up Cucumber Java/JUnit from scratch against Br-dge’s Payment Orchestration / Infrastructure solution. The Payment Orchestration solution is built around Kafka, gPRC, SQL\NoSQL microservice cloud systems. This included defining and verifying payments and refunds against payment companies: Adyen, ApplePay, Barclaycard SmartPayFuse, Braintree, Checkout.com, Computop, Cybersource, eKomi, GooglePay, Global Payments, NMI, PayPal, Stripe, Trust Payments, Worldpay. I’ve also defined and added contract tests for Br-dge’s Payment Orchestration / Infrastructure solution; verified Br-dge’s intelligent routing payment system test for the time of day, spending level and percentages of payments across different payment providers and defined and set up a Selenium solution from scratch for testing REST API, Analytics and Web testing. As part of the role I’ve also defined, developed, monitored and fixed regression tests running on the Jenkins CI/CD process. Defined and set up Appium and SauceLabs solutions from scratch for testing Android and iOS along with defining and running tests for each test case locally and remotely via Jenkins/SauceLabs solution and the loading and stress tests for the Payment Orchestration System using Gatling IO and Mock Services. The role was well-rounded and busy allowing me to work on various aspects of the business developments. Show less

I've spent considerable time managing projects, driving manual to fully automated testing and ensuring best practice adherence throughout the business. As the Test Manager in a start-up company, I've introduced tooling across the engineering framework developing test strategy to support the business and engineering goals. Within this role, I've also introduced fully automated testing and migrated existing Excel test cases over to Qmetry Test Manager for Jira. As part of the engineering group, I've also supported the training and development of engineers in functional and non-functional test across multiple technologies, including JSON RESTful API and JMeter. In addition, I've developed both functional and non-functional tests in selenium and selendroid to verify the Energy Manager products. Show less

During my time with Sky, I developed the Automatic Test Framework for the Telephone Call Tariffs, Digital Television and Line Rental finance projects for both the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. In addition to this, using PL SQL programs and Korn shell scripts, I checked the different price hold offers of customers, ensuring correct billing is applied. It was necessary to work with various stakeholders to ensure price increase discrepancies and test coverage were communicated throughout the project. Show less

I have spearheaded the use of open source tools associated with test development, introducing Microsoft Project for the planning and tracking required in this role. It was necessary to allocate tasks to the team and monitor their progress. I have specified, designed and implemented test use cases for PXI and reviewed existing cases ensuring test coverage. I also proposed, developed and designed auto-generation tools using C# with the result of improving test time throughout. This role also allowed me to create Software Test Requirements, Architectures and Test Plans. I created and maintained the calibration specification for an RF Digitiser and developed the calibration routine required. I designed, developed and created use test cases and investigated the use of customer’s devices to test Aeroflex’s PXI product range. Show less
