This comprehensive healthcare system provides medical and dental care, behavioral health care and counseling, pharmacy services, community health services, and nutritional services. I was entrusted with managing contract drafting and negotiation involving all sides and aspects of ambulatory, dental and behavioral health clinics found in Washington and Oregon, including purchasing practices, managed care arrangements, pharmacy operations, residency arrangements, provider contracts, employment matters, leases, property, and practice acquisitions. One of my key assignments was completing the acquisition and integration of several medical and dental practices as well as the purchase and improvement of several parcels of real property. I supervised the release of information function, including policy drafting management and advising the organization on HIPAA and other privacy matters. Achieved optimum outcomes by establishing a program for organization-wide training on Conflicts of Interest, HIPAA, Fraud Waste, and Abuse. Show less
