I have been a part of Punch Punk Games for six years since the very beginning. During my time there I have contributed to various games across different genres and platforms. Some of the games I have worked on include a first person stealth game, a point'n'click adventure, a job simulator and a story driven twin-stick brawler. My role involved designing and balancing gameplay features, creating UX/UI designs and briefs for UI artists, collaborating with technical artists on custom render pipelines and shaders for gameplay purposes, and acting as an art director and a level artist to ensure a consistent art direction. I have also created level designs for different perspectives, such as fpp, tpp and isometric. For This is the Zodiac Speaking, I used real life police reports, old maps and historic aerial photography to recreate realistic locations based on the Zodiac killer case. For Moonshine, I used graphic novel and historic media from the 1920s to capture the atmosphere of prohibition era rural America. I have also designed boat race tracks and workshop layouts for job sim games. Since the pandemic started in March 2020, I have taken on the role of a team leader and have mentored junior employees, supervised production and created budget and production plans with the head of production up until I've left the company in 2023. My experience as a jr. architect has helped me develop skills that are relevant for level design. I have designed floor plans, escape routes and environmental designs that reflect realistic scenarios and constraints. I have also created 3D visualizations of buildings, both with and without cad designs, which have taught me how to use various 3D tools and techniques.
