  As a Bilingual Spanish Middle School ELA and Social Studies teacher I create curriculum and lessons that connect to students' lives, and inspire them to ask questions, and become lifelong learners. I have also participated as a member of the Instructional Leadership Team to help determine school-wide priorities and goals for each school year. In addition, I served as a Mentor Teacher for two Teaching Candidates from UIC School of Education.
