Most recently, I spearheaded a project to replace our support team’s SSH usage with alternative admin only web tools. I also developed and maintained Scala code to fetch, process, and analyze data from hundreds of thousands of live customer network devices.   Advised by Professor Armando Fox with the SEJITS (Selective Embedded Just In Time Specialization) project. Recently employed SEJITS technology to run a bootstrapping statistical estimator function (Bag of Little Bootstraps) in the Spark Cloud Computing Cluster to evaluate a classifier’s results on a subset of the Enron email corpus. This involved lowering high level Python estimator functions to efficient Scala code deployable to Spark.
