My primary role was as a Sustainability focused Project Architect where I led large commercial, new construction projects. I worked as a Lead Designer, Project Manager, and Contract Administrator where I led our internal team from project concept through construction documents and to eventual project delivery and close out. I sat on DIALOG's National Green Practice Roundtable which sets the strategy direction for sustainability within the 5 studios, and represented the firm at National and International events. A major success include signing on to the AIA 2030 Commitment where we commit to making our entire design portfolio carbon neutral by the year 2030, Canada's first LEEDv4 CI Platinum project, and the successful Platinum certification of the UBC Nest.My Major Projects at the Vancouver Studio include:-Chilliwack Secondary School (Design Build) - 125,000 sqft Post Secondary - $54 million - (Support Project Architect and Primary Contract Administrator). -UBC Nest - Pit Pub - Lead Designer-UBC Nest - Sustainability Consultant & LEED Coordinator (Certified LEED Platinum). -Seaspan New Head Office Building - 80,000sqft Commercial Office Building - $33 Million (Project Architect & Lead Designer) Show less
